💡 Pro-Tips & Notes

Data Sensitivity

Medical information is protected by strict privacy rules. Only users with the welfare.medical.view permission (typically school nurses and senior administrators) can see these records.

Emergency Icons

Students with Life-Threatening allergies or critical conditions will have a "Medical Alert" icon displayed next to their name on class lists and the main directory.

Last Medical Exam

Use the Last Medical Exam Date field to track when a student last had a physical. Many schools require an annual update for sports eligibility.
